Due to a technical hitch, the mailing of pension slips for April has been delayed. They should have start arriving from 4 May but the problem has still not been resolved.

This year's AGM will be held in York on Wednesday, 16 May 2012 with lunch served in the splendid Station Hall.
The speaker will be Professor Juliet Lodge, Director of the Jean Monnet European Centre at Leeds University.
A notice/booking form is available in the Documents section of the Members' Area.
We also plan an evening meal at the ASK restaurant, in central York, on Tuesday, 15 May 2012.
Please put these dates in your diaries. Update: As of 23 March, the Travel Lodges and Premier Inn still have rooms available.

A new menu item (Salaries) has been added to the Members' Area to hold documents concerning the current annual adjustment of salaries and pensions, which has been deliberately mixed up with proposed changes to the staff regulations. The Council decided on 4 November to invoke the exception clause (article 21 of the TFEU), despite a Commission report of 13 July clearly concluding that the economic conditions described in the clause had not been met.

The Bruges-Natolin UK European Scholarships Fund or 'Brunat Scholarships' (Registered Charity No. 1139334), has been established, at the initiative of Lady (Moya) Denman, widow of Sir Roy Denman, in order to provide scholarships for UK-based applicants to study at the College of Europe in Bruges and Natolin.
